Allen Park Presbyterian Lifelong Learning Endeavor (APPLLE)
THE PURPOSE OF LIFELONG LEARNING
The gifts God gave were that some would be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers,to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until all of us come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to maturity, to the measure of the full stature of Christ. Ephesians 4:11-13

Book Study: "Proof of Heaven" (Mondays at 7:30 p.m. - March 24 through April 14 - Middle School Room - Main Church Building - upstairs) Before neurosurgeon, Dr. Eben Alexander underwent a near-death experience, he could not reconcile his knowledge of neuroscience with any belief in heaven, God, or the soul. Today Alexander believes that true health can be achieved only when we realize that God and the soul are real and that death is not the end of our existence but only a transition. Join Dr. Christian Kreipke for a discussion of the book and ideas of NDEs from the perspective of science and faith.
